Kelby Lester

Kelby Ryan Lester, 24, of Mercersburg, tragically left us on August 17, 2023. Kelby was larger than life, quite literally – everyone knew when Kelby entered a room. Kelby enjoyed snowboarding, kayaking, hiking, and driving, but there was nothing Kelby loved more than his faithful dog, Penelope, also known as “P”.

Kelby leaves behind his dad and mom, Jesse and Jennifer Lester, as well as two siblings, Kya and Kora. He is also survived by two grandmothers, Joann Strine and Brenda Suders, great-grandmother Anna Hager, Uncles Eric and Nick, cousins Brookelynn, Bryce, Brenna, and Ava, who will all miss him dearly; not to mention countless friends who are mourning his loss.

A celebration of Kelby’s life will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Lester Compound from 6 to 9 in the evening. We invite our family and friends to bring a chair, a cooler, and your best Kelby stories. Please park at the flea market.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that everyone leave their best burnout in Kelby’s honor.
