Kellan Reaver

Kellan Q. Reaver, 21, of Chambersburg, PA. passed away unexpectedly in Chambersburg. Born February 17, 1990 in Hagerstown, MD, he was a son of Shannon Mullendore Harter and husband Paul of Chambersburg and Keith M. Reaver and fiancé Kim Short of Orrtanna. A 2008 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and Franklin County Career and Technology Center where he was certified as a CNC machinist. Kellan had at one time been employed at the Public Opinion and was last employed at Olympic Steel in Chambersburg. Earlier in his life he enjoyed playing football and Little League baseball. His hobbies included body building, BMX biking, hunting, and riding motor cross and ATV’s. Kellan was an active member of Gold’s Gym in Chambersburg and the Adams County Fish and Game Club in Gettysburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Hannah Reaver of Chambersburg and Khloe Reaver of Orrtanna; a brother Trystan Reaver of Orrtanna; a step-brother Jake Harter; and a step-sister Brandi Harter, both of Chambersburg. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Carolyn and Kenneth Rogowski of North Point, FL and Paige and Janice Mullendore of Hagerstown, MD; as well as his paternal grandmother, Genny Reaver of Gettysburg.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Funeral services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gettysburg United Methodist Church, 30 West High Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
