Kelly V. High, 45, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center. Born February 11, 1972 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Constance Harry High of Chambersburg and the late Theodore R. High. Kelly was a graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from Hagerstown Business College. She was employed as a paralegal with the Franklin County Public Defender’s office. She was a member of the Chambersburg First Church of God and her hobbies included walking and exercising. Kelly lived life to its fullest and loved spending time with other people and her dog, Peppy,
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her fiancé, Devin L. Friese; three nephews, Coty Ramirez who resided with Kelly and Devin, Travis Meshyock, and Hunter Plessinger; her niece, Summer Plessinger; her sisters, Amy and Denise (husband Bill) Funk; half-brothers Theodore High, Jr. and Darrell High; and Devin’s son Kelby Friese. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kim Burton.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Kelly’s life at 7:00 PM Friday evening, July 14, 2017 at Chambersburg First Church of God. Pastor Kevin Elworth will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the service begins at 7:00 PM Friday at the church.
