Kelly Staley, age 34, of Crystal River, FL and formerly of Franklin County, PA; passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Born November 23, 1977, she is survived by her parents, Edward Staley (Mary) of Beverly Hills, FL and Georgia Martin (Glenn) of Franklin Co., PA.
Kelly was a graduate of the Waynesboro Area Senior High School. Her interests included traveling, writing, photography, and love of her cats. Kelly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially time with her son and step-children.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her life partner, Jason Bigham; her son, Aaron Snell; her step-children, Zane Bigham and Zoie Bingham; and her step-siblings, Christopher Fitzgerald and Jessica Fitzgerald. Kelly was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Alcesta Staley on October 30, 2012.
Joint funeral services will be held for both Kelly and her grandmother, Alcesta Staley on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA 17202; where Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Strang’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Better Days Animal League, 12310 Mongul Hill Rd.,
Shippensburg, PA 17257.
