Kenneth Beaver

Kenneth E. Beaver, 84, of Chambersburg, passed away on, July 2, 2018. Born September 24, 1933, in Greencastle, he was a son of the late John K. and Mae Ella Ovelman Beaver.

He was a 20 year Air Force veteran and was later employed at the Chambersburg Post Office with over 20 years of service. He loved his dogs, Eddie and Meggie.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy M. Foster Beaver; two daughters, Karen Dirkmaat (Dennis) of Erie, PA, and Michele Beaver of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren, Kyle Dirkmaat and fiancée Abbey and children Harper and Jackson; Dylan Dirkmaat and Nick and Emma Paris. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Debbie and twelve siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 6, 2018, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will follow the service in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
