Kevin Funk

Kevin Edward Funk, age 13, of Chambersburg, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 in Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh. Born on December 29, 1998 in Laguna Hills, CA, he was the son of Ryan Edward Funk and Susan Calvert Funk of Chambersburg.

Kevin was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and he attended the Franklin Learning Center. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Trinity Funk, two brothers, Ian Calvert of Westminster, MD and Adam Surgeon of Hagerstown; grandmother Rebecca Funk of Baltimore, and great grandmother, Mildred Funk of Glen Burnie, MD.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, January 23, 2012 in the chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, with Rev. Fr. Keith Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at 2 PM in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. There will be no public viewing however the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9-10 AM on Monday.
