Kimberly Kay Whitsel Rideout, 63, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at her home. Born March 9, 1957 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Yvonne Gutshall Whitsel and the late Ernest Fred Whitsel.
Kimberly was a 1975 graduate of CASHS. She earned her paralegal license from Allegheny Community College and was employed as such with Csonka Law Office in Chambersburg. She was an auxiliary member of DAV Chapter 78 in Chambersburg and enjoyed gardening, watching different reality shows and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, Kimberly is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bobby Rideout; sister, Kelly Lane Andrus and husband Jim of SC; sister-in-law, Kay Whitsel of South Mountain; three nephews, Travis, Tyler and Dakota; her best friend and “adopted daughter”, Mandi Newman; and three granddaughters, Brieona, Zyairiah and Kymani. Aside from her father, Kimberly was preceded in death by her brother, Kirby Leonard Whitsel.
Services will be held later at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
