Konstantinos Tsortos, 80, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born April 14, 1941 in Krikilo, Ebritania, Greece, he was a son of the late Serafim and Georgia Kretsi Tsortos.
In 1989 Konstantinos purchased the Molly Pitcher Waffle Shop in Chambersburg. In 1999 he purchased the Littler Dipper Restaurant and was the owner/operator until his retirement. Konstantinos was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Camp Hill, PA. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dimitria Masgalas Tsortos, whom he married on July 11, 1969; two children, Georgia Tsortos Kakaziotis and Serafim “Mike” Tsortos, both of Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Dimitri and Konstantinos “Dean” Kakaziotis, and Michael Tsortos; and two siblings, Dimitrios Tsortos and Eleftheria Balafouta, both of Greece.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Norland Cemetery. Fr. Michael Varvarelis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
