Kyle R. Snowberger

Kyle R. Snowberger, 30, of Greencastle, PA passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 26, 2024 in his home. Born February 10, 1994 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of Robert and Susan (Diehl) Snowberger.

He was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 2012. Kyle was very musically talented and played the piano, trumpet, baritone, viola and guitar. He was an active member of the high school marching band, jazz band, and symphony as well as a member of the district and county band. He was also a member of German Club and National Honor Society. Kyle went on to obtain bachelor’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering and German from Penn State University Main Campus in 2016. While at Penn State he was a member of the Blue Band and Pep Band. 

Kyle was employed as an engineer for Textron, Wichita, KS and for Manitowoc Company, Shady Grove, PA. Most recently he was working alongside his parents as an installer, salesperson and partner to his dad at Lincoln Lectronics, Chambersburg. Kyle had the ability to troubleshoot and fix any issues that occurred during his installation jobs.

Kyle attended St. Luke Lutheran Church where he was active in the youth group when he was younger. He enjoyed model trains and rockets, playing ultimate Frisbee and skiing. Kyle had cherished memories of swimming with his cousins at his Grandma and Pap Snowberger’s, sleepovers and helping with the garden at his Grandma and Pap Diehl’s, building a tree house with his Uncle Bill, going on family beach vacations, and playing outside with his neighborhood friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by an aunts and uncles, Debra Lehman, Lorraine and Scott Snowberger, Natalie and Chuck Shriver, and Bill Diehl; cousins, Lauren Lehman, Sebastian Snowberger and partner, Chance, Sabrina Kraft and husband Jake, and Andrew Shriver and wife Sara; and his furry pets, Paris and Dolly. Kyle is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Joy Snowberger and his maternal grandparents Bill and Anna Lee Diehl.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Rev. Chris Frye officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday evening in the funeral home. The family encourages everyone to dress casual in their favorite Penn State attire.
