Larry Spielman

Larry E. Spielman, 73, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at his home. Born July 15th 1947 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Harold Edgar and Mildred Kathleen (Eckenrode) Spielman.
Larry was a proud US Marine Corps Veteran having served in Vietnam where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was employed at the former James River Corp. for 34 years and Amcor Flexible Packaging for 12 years. After his retirement in 2011, he did what he loved by helping others and doing woodworking. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. Larry was a firm believer in God and attended King Street Church in Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Marilyn (Martin) Spielman; two children, Craig Spielman (girlfriend Corrie Tiffany) of Chambersburg, and Christy Brown (husband Darren) of SC; three siblings, Gerald Spielman (wife Mary) of Chambersburg, Gary Spielman of Fayetteville and Rebecca Denham of Chambersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Rev. Ron Cook will officiate. Interment will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA.
