Larry E. “Boz” Walls, 65, of Chambersburg, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 30, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Born November 24, 1958, in
Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Wayne Walls, Sr. and Jean (Creager) Walls.
A 1978 graduate of James Buchanan High School, He started his working career at Waynesboro
Construction Company, as a backhoe operator, before moving on to work alongside his siblings at St.
Thomas Towing, Auto Repair and Recycling, where he was the co-owner/operator for the last 30
years. Gracious with his time and gifts, he could often be found at social gatherings supporting the
community or at his grandchildren’s sporting events. Boz enjoyed hunting, racing, specifically being the
Crew chief for his brother(Wayne) and son(Ryan), playing cards, and having cookouts with his family and
friends. He enjoyed his nightly phone conversations and daily trips to catch up with his buddies. His
grandchildren always enjoyed his tall tales which included fighting the alligators in the Amazon and his
monster buck he saw every year but couldn’t get the perfect shot, just to name a few! Many memories with Boz were made by spending time at the family cabin and eating his well-loved BBQ chicken. He was a true family man and spent his time caring for and being with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather,and a true friend to all. He was a social member of the Detrich-Brechbill American Legion Post 612 and the Christian Life Church.
Boz is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Gladys (McMaster) Walls, whom he married May 4,
1987; children, Brandy J. Linn (Husband, Tracy) of Edenville, and Ryan E. Walls (Wife, Samantha) of St.
Thomas; six grandchildren, Parker Alexander, Kayleigh Linn, Gabe Alexander, Emileigh Linn, Ryan Walls,
Jr, and Kynsleigh Linn; siblings, Richard, Gary, and Karen Walls. Aside from his parents, he was preceded
in death by his brother, Wayne Walls, Jr. and his in-laws, Harry and Betty McMaster.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Thomas L.
Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Joe Pickens will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, December 6th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.

Larry’s granddaughter had a vision for a gym to be built at their church so children would have a safe
place to go and be able to hear the word of the Lord. This project was near and dear to Larry’s heart.
