Lee Johnson

Lee Glenn Johnson, age 74, of Spring Run, PA, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Born July 22, 1941, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Lewis and Viola Hamilton Johnson.

Lee was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the Harrisburg Labor Union. His hobbies included fishing, caring for his dog, Angel, taking the local Amish to appointments, and watching his goats.

Surviving is a son, Glenn L. Johnson (wife Heather) of Spring Run; four grandchildren, Keith and Kala Johnson, Jimmy Kulp III, and Rachel Walters; four great-grandchildren; and six siblings, Ray Johnson, Donna Shahan, Marlin Johnson (wife Donna), Gloria Rosenberry, Roy Jay Johnson (wife Jessica), and Lois Rayski (husband Roger). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Evelyn Oller “Dolly” Johnson in 2012, and a sister, Jean Monn.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Harold E. Yeager will officiate. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
