Lenora Ewing

Lenora W. Hann Ewing, 92, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born on June 14, 1920 in McConnellsburg, she was a daughter of the late Brice Hann and Ida Clarissa Tritle Hann. She was the widow of Albert Ewing, who preceded her in death on January 8, 1983.

A homemaker and avid gardener, she was a member of The United Methodist Church of St. Thomas. She is survived by her son, Dr. Allen N. Ewing (wife, Shari) of Chambersburg; granddaughters, Stephanie Byers (husband, Robert) and Joelle Guare (husband, John); and four great grandchildren, Abigail and Joseph Byers, and Emma and Sarah Guare.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at The United Methodist Church of St. Thomas, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Steve Portner will officiate. Private interment will be in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
