She was an active member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where she sang with the choir and was a member of WELCA. She enjoyed gardening, walking, and spending time with her family. Her husband, Charles B. Hollaway, preceded her in death on June 1, 1982.

A loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by those who loved her including her three children, Ruth Hollaway of Chambersburg, John Hollaway (Victoria) of Chambersburg, and Heidi Crawford (Douglas) of York; grandchildren Ty Hollaway of Bozeman, MT and Chenin Hollaway (Doug Thomas); and great-grandson, Nowah Hollaway, all of Hustontown. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her kind, gentle heart. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruby McFadden.
