Linda Bechtel

Linda M. Bechtel, age 67, of East Waterford, PA, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in the Harrisburg Hospital. Born on March 24, 1944 in Lemoyne, PA, she was a daughter of the late Francis M. and Freda M. Brewbaker Hardy.
A loyal wife, mother and homemaker, Linda also worked at Bear Packing, Gibble’s Potato Chips, and Super 8 Motel. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of Christ in Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Dennis H. Bechtel, whom she married August 8, 1997; two sons, Jeff (and wife, Tammy) Adkins of St. Thomas and Steve (and wife, Larissa) Adkins of Lemasters; one brother, Lamont Hardy of Shippensburg; and two stepchildren, Angel Custer and Dennis Bechtel II. She was preceded in death by a son, Orville Adkins. A private viewing and funeral service will be held for the family with Rev. Jerry Timbrook officiating. She will be interred at Concord Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA.
