Linda Brandt

Linda R. Brandt, age 71, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 14, 1950, in Mount Pleasant, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Leslie and Ruth Ioan Watson Decker.
Ms. Brandt was a 1968 graduate of James Buchanan High School. She was a member of the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren, where she sang in the Chancel Choir and was a member of Believers Sunday School Class. She enjoyed reading, sewing, camping, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three children, Melinda Bayer (husband Vernon) of Waynesboro, PA, Todd Brandt (wife Trina) of Mont Alto, PA, and Timothy Brandt (wife Tina) of Chambersburg, PA; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Gregory Decker (wife Leta) and Russell Decker; and her cat, Cinder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Brandt in 2010, a brother, Gilbert Leslie “Butch” Decker and her best friend, Bonita “Bonnie” Wauls.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Joel Nogle will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 6 -8 PM and one hour prior to the service in the above funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Welsh Run Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
