Linda G. Hammond, age 62, of Spring Run, PA, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Born October 13, 1953, in Spring Run, PA, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Josephine B. Wilson Bryan.
Linda was a 1971 graduate of Fannett-Metal High School. She was employed at Penn Hall as a certified nurse’s aide for the last 23 years. Linda enjoyed caring for people, reading, working on puzzles, and gardening.
Surviving is her husband, Robert L. Hammond, three children, Angela Taylor of South Carolina; Tony Taylor (wife Carrie) of Warfordsburg, PA; and Ricky Taylor (wife Erica) of Blairs Mills, PA; five grandchildren, Kyli, Elijah, and Anastasia Taylor and Laura Cunningham and Heaven Bradley; her brother Larry Bryan (wife Beatrice) of Spring Run, PA; an Aunt, Grace Bryan MacInnes of Chambersburg, PA; and her beloved cat, Sweet Pea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Sky Taylor.
Services will be private. Interment will be in Upper Path Valley Cemetery, Spring Run, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to the Agett – Geisel Funeral Home, Dry Run, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 128, Spring Run, PA 17262.
