Linda Harlan

Linda Kathleen Harlan, age 44, of Chambersburg, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Born in Toledo, OH on January 16, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Harlan and Carol Schassberger Harlan and the step-daughter of Doris Harlan of Toledo, OH.
A thoughtful and loving person, Linda cared about her family and loved her children. She enjoyed reading, completing crafts, collecting boyds bears, and spending time at the House of Grace.
In addition to her step-mother, she is survived by three children, Carolyn Adkins of Barnard, VT, Chelsey Harlan of Hagerstown, MD, and Austin Little of Chambersburg, PA; Three sisters, Brenda Wallior (husband Eric) of Hemet, CA, Lisa Harlan of Chambersburg, PA, Tina Collins (husband John) of Cheyenne, WY; and a step-brother, Billie Weott of Toledo, OH and step-sister, Evelyn Cranston of Toledo, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Bruce Harlan.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11 AM at the Christian Life Assembly of God Church, 1400 Warm Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Joseph Pickens will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. An additional memorial service will be held at a later date in Toledo, OH, with inurnment in Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, OH. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
