Linda Stouffer

Linda L. Stouffer, 69, of Chambersburg, wife of R. Leroy Stouffer, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born on July 21, 1943 in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of Mark L. Verdier of Chambersburg and the late Betty E. Weagley Verdier.
A 1961 graduate of Waynesboro High School, Linda worked as a bank teller for F&M Trust Company in Chambersburg for 25 years. She retired in 2006. She enjoyed reading and taking trips to the beach, but her most cherished times were those spent with her family.
Aside from her husband, Leroy, whom she married on December 22, 1962, she is survived by two children, Todd L. Stouffer (wife, Gracie) of Chambersburg, and Stacie Bachman (husband, Daniel) of Fayetteville; one sister Kathy Needham (husband, Dwight) of Waynesboro; and two grandchildren, Cole and Grace Bachman of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Lester F. Stine officiating. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
