Lloyd Thomas King, Jr., age 42, of Harrisburg, PA passed away suddenly on Friday, July 12, 2013. Born April 1, 1971 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of Lloyd Thomas King, Sr., and the late Shirley Poper King.
A 1989 graduate of CASHS, Lloyd was the co- owner/operator of King’s Gold Transportation. He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God church and a life member of the Marion Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed truck driving, trains, NASCAR, football, coaching his son’s baseball team, and taking his son trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Beeler King, whom he married in May of 1997; three children, Noah, Gabriel and Victoria King; a sister April Caratozzola and husband Joe of Chambersburg; two nephews, Joshua and Parker Caratozolla; and a niece, Danielle Caratozolla.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 7:30 PM at the Marion Volunteer Fire Hall, 5465 Molly Pitcher Hwy., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor John Lanza will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fire Hall . Interment will be private in Green Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
