Lois L. Leevy, 91, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Born September 9, 1927 in Fulton County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Rush D. and Adaline Kuhn Hann. Her beloved husband, Grant J. Leevy preceded her in death on March 15, 1990.

Lois was employed as a CNA for many years having worked at the former Franklin Farms Nursing Home, Leader Nursing Home and as a private duty nurse. Earlier in her life she was employed at the Stanley Co. in Chambersburg. She was a member of Websters Mill Free Brethren Church and Montgomery Brethren In Christ Church. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, baking and cooking.

She is survived by five children, Judy Rogers and husband James of Chambersburg, Joyce Leevy of Chambersburg, Donna Vanderau and husband Donald of Oxon Hill, MD, Grant “Gene” Leevy and wife Teresa of Williamson, and Greg Leevy and wife Linda of Chambersburg; eleven grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three siblings, Eugene “Dude” Hann, Chalmer Hann and wife Lois, and John Hann and wife Helen; and one sister-in-law, Joan Hann. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by seven siblings, Arlene, Melvin, Jim, Jessie, Cleo, Elmer and Frank.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 2, 2018, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor David Hann will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grane Hospice, 3501 Concord Road, Suite 110, York, PA 17402.
