Lorraine Rife

Lorraine E. (Miller) Rife, 100, of Chambersburg, passed away Tuesday morning, June 20, 2023 at the Shook Home. Born February 21, 1923 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Miller and Lottie Miller McCleary. She was a life-long member of The Open Door Church. Lorraine loved her family and friends and enjoyed working in her flower beds, baking, and hosting family and friends for meals. Her husband, Warren K. Rife, whom she married March 1, 1965, preceded her in death on October 26, 2015.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Stumbaugh of Chambersburg and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Her nephew, Rev. Kirby Keller, will officiate. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be alongside her husband at Salem Cemetery.
