Lou Ann Zeek

Lou Ann Zeek, age 58, of Chambersburg, PA passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Born October 24, 1954 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Archie D. and Louella N. Jaymes Anderson.
Lou Ann was a 1973 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She was employed at Knouse Foods for over 21 years. Lou Ann enjoyed going to the beach, swimming, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband of 32 years, Donald W. Zeek, whom she married on November 23, 1980; her children, Anthony D. Zeek of Chambersburg, PA and Jennifer M. Zeek of Chambersburg, PA; five grandchildren, Lierra M. Engle-Zeek, Zariah J. Shank, Na’Zareah J. Shank, Ezaveri E. Casanova, and Elias A. Zeek; a sister, Shirley J. Miley (husband Kemp) of Fayetteville, PA; and her mother in law, Kathryn G. Deshong. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Matt Clawson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
