Louise B. Miner, 92, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday morning, March 14, 2022 at Providence Place. Born September 22, 1929 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late George and Pauline Zullinger Brezler. Mrs. Miner was a graduate of the former Chambersburg High School. A homemaker most of her life, she was a life-long member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering for many years in the gift shop at Chambersburg Hospital. Her husband, Walter E. “Frog” Miner, whom she married February 16, 1952, preceded her in death on May 17, 2019.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be missed by two sons, Dane Miner and wife Kelly of Chambersburg, Kirby Miner and wife Jeanine of Ft. Worth, TX; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; her sister, Trudy Brezler Bagley of Chambersburg; one niece; and one nephew; and her son-in-law, Barney Funston of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie A. Miner Funston; and her brother, George F. Brezler.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2022 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. There will be no public viewing. Private interment will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
