Lyndall Weller

Lyndall M. Weller, 74, of Chambersburg was reunited with her late husband Arthur in Heaven Monday evening, on what would have been there fifty-seventh wedding anniversary. Born March 27, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Alta Spangler Gelwicks. She was a graduate of the former Quincy High School. A homemaker most of her life, Lyndall especially liked spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo and attending Gaither Brothers concerts. She was a member of the New Franklin Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Women of the Moose Chapter 1128. Her husband, Arthur J. Weller, whom she married September 10, 1955, preceded her in death on August 26, 1995.

She is survived by five children, Brenda Miller and companion Rodney Sebring of Chambersburg, Kirby Weller and wife Deanna of Chambersburg, Cindy Bingaman and husband Marvin of Waynesboro, Penny Guyer and husband Steve of St. Thomas, and Kevin Weller and wife Brenda of Red Lion; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Orville Gelwicks and wife Joan of Arendtsville and a sister, Esther Jones of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Gelwicks; and three sisters, Ruth Yohe, Doris Smith, and Gladys Bear.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 14, 2012 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday and from Noon-1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
