M. Naomi Lehman

Mary Naomi (Burkholder) Lehman, 91 of Chambersburg, PA, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at her home.

Born October 28, 1922 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Harry and Mary Burkholder. She was married to Clyde Horst Lehman on November 23, 1944 who preceded her in death on August 11, 2013.

She attended Honeytown School. She was a homemaker and a member of Strasburg Mennonite Church her entire life.

Mrs. Lehman is survived by 12 children, Daniel Lehman (wife Eunice), Clair Lehman (wife Eunice), Bertha Ocker (husband Merle), Norma Lehman, Harry Lehman (wife Kathy), Ellen Rife (husband Harold), Rhoda Lehman, all of Chambersburg, Melvin Lehman (wife Shelia) of Guys Mills, PA, Lee Lehman (wife Margaret) and Clyde B. Lehman (wife Brenda), all of Chambersburg, PA, Miriam Strite (husband Carl) of Broadwater, VA, and Naomi Risser (husband Dennis) of Lebanon, PA; 61 grandchildren, 147 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, one son-in-law Eugene Martin, two sisters, Catherine Lehman and Anna Musser, both of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Mary; two grandchildren, Dale Ocker and Patrick Lehman; four great-grandchildren, Rosalie Willis, Cameron Willis, Hosanna Lehman, and Doreen Horst; and a grandson-in-law, Devon Landis.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Portico Old Order River Brethren Meeting House, 5501 Fort McCord Road, Chambersburg, PA with Ministers Allen Fleagle, Nathan Wadel, Melvin Lehman, and Marvin Musser officiating. Interment will follow at the Chambersburg Mennonite Church Cemetery, 1800 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the meeting house.
