Mabel Virginia Piper, 87, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Born January 6, 1935 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Hulda Carbaugh Musselman. Mabel was employed as a manager at Stoner’s Restaurant. During her retirement, she enjoyed reading, gardening, going to auctions and crocheting.
She is survived by seven children, Ralph Piper, Jr. and wife Michele of TN, Melissa Metz of Chambersburg, Christine Carbaugh of Shippensburg, Jeffrey Piper of Orrtanna, Paul Piper and wife Nancy of Orrstown, Melinda Piper of Shippensburg and Elizabeth D’Orsi and husband Tom of Chambersburg; numerous grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and one sister, Patsy Caldwell of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents, Mabel is preceded in death by her sister, Minnie Musselman; and her long-time companion, Charles Flory.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
