Madeline M. Fahnestock, 90, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 in Chambersburg Nursing and Rehab Center. Born September 26, 1933 in Walker Township, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Flora Wileman.
She was employed as a seamstress for Grief Sewing Company, Shippensburg, PA for over 20 years. Madeline loved the outdoors, mowing her yard, taking long walks, and going out to dinner.
She is survived by three children, Jerry Pennabaker, Terry Fahnestock, and Christine Freeman and two grandchildren, Dawn Freeman and Cody Pennabaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Michael L. Freeman, Jr. who passed away in 2010 and her daughter-in-law Harriet Pennabaker who passed away in 2019.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Murray Stevens officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home.
