Malcolm J. Jones, 35, of Chambersburg, PA passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July, 2, 2023 in North Charleston, SC. Born February 26, 1988 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of Clara R. Jones of Chambersburg and Ivan B. Plummer of Hagerstown, MD.
He was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 2006. He then went on to obtain his bachelor degree in Business Administration from Kaplan University.
Malcolm was employed in the warehouse industry as a machine and forklift operator. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan. Malcolm enjoyed listening to music, trying new foods, walking and exercising, and watching professional wrestling.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two siblings, Kenneth Jones of Charles Town, WV and Laurel Jones of Chambersburg as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Booker T. and Laura Belle Jones; an uncle, Coy Henry Jones; and two aunts, Lillie Rose Jones and Suzanne Williams.
Services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2023 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Lois A. Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday morning in the funeral home.
