Mallie (Molly) Wulfert Kingsley, 84, passed peacefully into eternal glory to be with her Loving Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 25, 2021 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA.
She was born July 24, 1937, the youngest of nine children to Harry (HP) and Georgia Pearl Wulfert in Marchand, PA. She completed primary and middle school in small one-room schoolhouses, then advanced to Punxsutawney High School, graduating in 1955. Mallie then moved to Emporium, PA to work as a clerk typist at Sylvania, where she met, and was swept off her feet, by Wayne H. Kingsley, who introduced himself as he held the water fountain open for her. They were married for 54 years until Wayne’s passing in 2010.
Everyone fortunate enough to know Mallie was touched by her joyful, gentle demeanor and her fervent dedication to the Lord. She served the Lord as a Sunday school teacher, a Jet Cadets leader, a choir member, President of the Christian Women’s Club, a deaconess, a volunteer at the Grove Home and held weekly Christian services at the Manor.
Mallie is predeceased by her parents, siblings, husband, and daughter-in-law, Betty. Surviving are her two loving sons Dr. David H. Kingsley of Chambersburg, PA, and Larry W. and his wife Bonnie, of Cary NC. Mallie’s continual delight were her 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Kelly (& Jesse) Perry, Ben Kingsley, Kristen (& Jason) Hill, Jared (& Melissa) Kingsley, Kayla Kingsley, and 3 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many family members, nieces and nephews, beloved friends of Emporium and Chambersburg.
In keeping with Mallie’s expressed wishes, a private family celebration of life was held, and she is laid to rest in Franklin, PA.
