Margaret Racila

Margaret Ellen “Teddy” Kuhn Racila, age 94, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born October 3, 1927, in McConnellsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Lee and Ruth Knable Kuhn.
Teddy worked as a waitress and homemaker most of her working years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, going to yard sales. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg, PA.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Keifman of Chambersburg, PA; four grandchildren, Angela D. Overcash (husband Robert) of Chambersburg, PA, Candace F. Gearhart (husband Randall) of State Line, PA, John E. Keifman (wife Amber) of WA, and Gabriella J. Keifman of Chambersburg, PA; six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jeremy, and Trentin Overcash; Nevaeh Keifman; and Reyannon and Ryan Gearhart; and three siblings, Betty Kuhn of McConnellsburg, PA, Charlotte Goetz of Greencastle, PA, and Denver Kuhn of McConnellsburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Racila on June 5, 1988; son–in-law, Fred Keifman; and nine siblings, Gladys, Jessie, Dimple, Georgie, Marion, Lee, Grover, Billy, and Blair.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 10:30 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201, where Rev. Fr. Andrew St. Hilaire, will celebrate. Interment will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 9-10 AM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the above church and address.
