Marie Wilson

Marie E. Wilson, 104, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Saturday morning, July 1, 2017 at the nursing home. Born January 21, 1913 in Fayetteville, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Ankerbrand Ross. She was a graduate of the former Chambersburg High School and worked at a book binder in Philadelphia. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Fayetteville and a former member of the Order of Amaranth. Her first husband, Urban Axelson and her second husband, George Wilson, preceded her in death.

She is survived by eight nieces, Jane Schoen, Barbara Hambright, Saundra Angle, Deanna Rock, Harriett Noll, Patricia Witmer, Linda Noll, and Joanne Barrows; as well as a nephew, Harry Noll. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Beachley and Katherine Noll.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Lincoln Cemetery. Rev. John Irwin and Rev. Thomas Willis will officiate.
