Marion K. Bricker, 91, formerly of Keefer Road Chambersburg, died peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2011 in Manor Care Health Services of Chambersburg, where she had resided for the past 6 years. Born on September 28, 1919 in Shamokin, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jesse G. Farley and Florence K. Geyer Farley. She was the widow of John M. Bricker, who preceded her in death on May 13, 2005.

A former member of Salem United Brethren Church, and a current member of Mountain Top Ministries, Marion retired from Knouse Foods in 1995. She had also worked for H.J. Heinz in Chambersburg. Some of her favorite pastimes included working outdoors, gardening, going to yard sales, and being with her family.

She is survived by two children, Leroy (and wife, Patsy) Bricker of Shippensburg and Sally (and husband, Glynn) Walker of St. Thomas; five grandchildren, Christeena Thomas, Debbie Murr, Tina Walker, Mark Bricker, and Leroy C. Bricker; nine great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Baker, and a grandson, Clinton Walker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, with Pastor Ken Reid officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 PM on Tuesday and 9-10 AM on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 384 Floral Avenue Chambersburg, PA 17201.
