Marlene Putt

Marlene Kay Putt, 64, of Chambersburg, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Born September 3, 1953 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Arvie P and Helen E. Reath Martin. Marlene was a homemaker and in her early years she worked at Modern Dry Cleaners in Chambersburg. She enjoyed playing bingo, gambling at Charlestown and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Billy M. Putt, whom she married on December 14, 1973; two children, Michael M. Martin (wife Michele) of Fayetteville, and Pamela K. Butler of Chambersburg; ten grandchildren, Heather K. Wyatt, Tyler M. Butler, Christopher M. Martin, Brittany N. Mclauglin, Alyssa B. Wooler, Rebecca B. Glunt, Jenna M. Martin, Jesse M. Martin, Kylie S. Martin and Ella R. Martin; twelve great grandchildren, and her sisters, Carol Foreman, Arlene Shauf, Darlene Simmers and Charlene Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Rev. Darlene Stouffer will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
