Martha M. Harry, 85, of Blairs Mills, PA, died September 14, 2013 at home. Born on March 10, 1928 in Nossville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alva and Beulah Parson. She was the wife of the late Wilbur T. “Red” Harry, who preceded her in death on May 3, 1980.

Martha had various jobs throughout the years, including as a seamstress, working as a mechanic at Letterkenny Army Depot during World War II and as a cook. Her last employment was as a cook at Jack and Jill Daycare in Shippensburg from 1982 until retiring in 1999. She was a member of Dry Run TOPS Club #341, Central Callers Square Dance Association and a Sunday school teacher and trustee of Blairs Mills Brethren in Christ Church.

Martha is survived by a daughter, Barbara A. Foster and husband Douglas; a son, Wilbur “Milo” Harry and wife Debra; a son in-law, Michael DiSylvester; three step children, Edna Hoffman, Connie High and Shelby Shaffer; 7 grandchildren, Jeramy Foster, Jennifer Woodward, Joshua Foster, Jessica Stalker, Amber Senft, Holly Junkin, and Matthew Gaston; 11 great-grandchildren and three sisters; Shirley Plum, Mary Bailey, and Betty Goshorn. Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Glovia L. DiSylvester, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and her long time companion, Elmer Beaston.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10:00AM in Blairs Mills Brethren in Christ Church, 17751 Allison Road, Blairs Mill, PA. Interment will follow in Nossville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM on Tuesday at Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main Street, Dry Run, PA and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
