Martha Lininger

It is with great happiness and joy that Martha Jane (Kelso) Lininger has passed into the Presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Born July 23, 1926 in Newburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Carl W. Sr. and Edith Mary (Rhine) Kelso.

Martha was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years Carl E. “Buck” Lininger; brothers Carl Jr., David, Joe and Ned; and a sister Marguerite.

She is survived by; two sons, Kurt Lininger (Dorie) and Alan Lininger; 3 grandchildren, Heidi Shaull (Adam), Craig, and Caleb Lininger; 3 great-grandchildren, Bryson, Tanyon, and Addie Shaull.

Martha retired from the Chambersburg Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 P.M., Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Gregg Garman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Thursday morning. CDC social distancing and mask requirements will be in place.
