Martine Rosenberry

April 30, 1927 — April 11, 2013

Martine E. Felton Rosenberry, age 85 of Chambersburg, PA passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Born April 30, 1927 in Everett, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mildred Boor Felton of Breezewood, PA.
A 1945 graduate of Everett High School, Mrs. Rosenberry went on to work for Letterkenny Army Depot in MISMA and MIDA as a clerk typist and then on the working for the FAA in Washington, DC, where she retired in 1985. She continued to work after retirement at the Hallmark card store at the Chambersburg Mall. Mrs. Rosenberry enjoyed “Big Band Music, especially Frank Sinatra. She enjoyed bowling and traveling throughout the U.S, especially the Southwest. She was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan as well as a Pittsburgh Pirate fan.
Surviving is her son, David Ellis (wife Judy) of State Line, PA, two grandchildren, Matthew D Ellis (wife Dixie) of Chambersburg and Karen Ellis of Cornelius, NC, two great grandchildren, Keric and Madison Ellis of Chambersburg, PA, three sisters, Lois Keagy of York, PA, Nanette Morse of Edgewater, FL, and Leslie Ann Ruha of Huntsville, AL, and her former husband and friend, Gerald “Rosie” Rosenberry.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Pastor Randy Zeiler will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or to the Salvation Army, 169 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
