Marvin Henry

Marvin A. Henry, 67, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 in his home. Born April 25, 1956 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of the late Becky Lemar.

He attended Chambersburg Area Schools. Marvin was employed as an optometrist at Chambersburg Optical throughout his career. He enjoyed fishing and metal detecting. Marvin enjoyed talking and always had a joke or two to tell.

Marvin is survived by three sons, Shane Henry of Chambersburg, Josh Henry and his wife Sarah of Chambersburg, and Adam Henry and his wife Courtney of Hagerstown, MD; six grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Josh, Jr., Jonnie-Mae, Bryce and Abby; four siblings, Eugene, Gloria, Denny, and Tommy Henry; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by Richard Henry and Tracey Henry.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
