Mary Cramer

December 2, 1951 — February 21, 2023

Mary Ethel Cramer (Vaughn), 71 of Saint Thomas PA, passed away Tuesday, February 21st at Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born Sunday, December 2, 1951, in Conneaut, OH, she was the daughter of Merle C. Vaughn and the late Mary I Vaughn (Barrick) of Shippensburg PA.
Mary was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In her younger years she could be found at the Red Bridge Roller skating rink, where she worked and taught skating lessons. One of her favorite hobbies was going camping with friends and family, primarily to her favorite place, Shenandoah National Park. Mary volunteered at the Mar-Le-Nie’ dance studio, where she was able to watch both her daughters participate in dance. She enjoyed beach vacations to Ocean City and Hawaii with family and watching hummingbirds. During the week, Mary could be found at “Computer tutor” working side by side with Don and Bing the dog. When Mary had time to herself she could either be found with her nose in a good book or behind a sewing machine while she created another masterpiece.
Mary is survived by her husband, Barry; two daughters, Sherry (companion, John Linhart) Cramer of Chambersburg, PA and Kailey Henry of St. Thomas, PA; one son, Terry (wife Carin) Henry of Shippensburg, PA; four grandchildren, KayeLynn, Leah, Zachery, James (Ashton) ,and multiple great grandchildren; two sisters, one brother, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as a very special friend who was considered a sister, Madge (husband Ed) Kramer from Michigan. In addition to mother, Mary I Vaughn (Barrick), she was preceded in death by her in-laws, LaRue Cramer (Kayhoe) and Oscar Cramer and sister in law, Patti Jo Goulet.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
