Mary Demps

Mary A. Demps, 76, of Littlestown, PA passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 in Paoli Hospital, Paoli, PA. Born May 24, 1946 in Brownsville, PA she was the daughter of the late Edgar Tasker, Sr. and Martha (Brown) Tasker.

She attended Chambersburg Area Schools. Mary was employed by Musselman’s for a number of years. She was a member of Greater Good News Church of God In Christ, Chambersburg, PA. She enjoyed fishing, baking, going to yard-sales, and working on puzzles.

Mary is survived by her husband, Arthur Demps; three children, Gerald Hill, Jr. of Hunlock Creek, PA, Tony A. Hill of Pittson, PA and Shalonda (Hill) Graham and her husband Anthony of Coatesville, PA; four grandchildren, Asia and Ayden Graham, Aliyah Hill, and Bryanna Hill; seven siblings, William Tasker, Sr. (Euphemia), Shirley Sistrunk, Dolly Keyes (Eddie), Gerald Tasker, Sr., Katherine Johnson (Victor), Judy Camel, and Michael Tasker (Michelle); and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four siblings, Edgar Tasker, Jr., Charles Tasker, Robert Tasker, and Linda Tasker.

Services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Brownsville Church of God, 6390 Lincoln Way E., Fayetteville, PA 17222 with Rev. Victor Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Cemetery, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday morning in the church. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
