Mary Ellen Baughman

Mary Ellen Baughman, 82, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 7, 2019 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 24, 1937 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Hockensmith Etter. She was employed at the former J. Schoeneman Company in Chambersburg for more than 40 years. Mrs. Baughman was a member of King Street United Brethren Church. She enjoyed football; Word Searches; and puzzle books. Her husband, Richard S. Baughman, whom she married June 14, 1958, preceded her in death on December 20, 2003.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacie L. Baughman of Chambersburg and her sister, Jean Fox of Chambersburg. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Etter.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Ronald Cook will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
