Mary Etter

Mary M. Etter, age 90, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Menno Haven Nursing Home. Born April 3, 1925, in Franklin County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Allen J. and Olevia M. Claudy Miner.
Mrs. Etter worked at A&P Foods for 50 years, where she later retired. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, PA.
Surviving are two children, Paul A. (wife Linda) of Fayetteville, PA and Harold E. (wife Dorothy) of Chambersburg, PA; three grandchildren, Amanda, David, and Matthew Etter; and two siblings, Violet A. Sullivan of Fayetteville, PA and Isabelle R. Doughten of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Etter, Sr. and a son, Paul E. Etter, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Bruce Gowe and Pastor Tom Willis will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 61 W Main St, Fayetteville, PA 17222.
