Mary Jane Baughman

Mary Jane Baughman, 79, of Chambersburg, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday February 8th, 2024 from the Chambersburg Hospital with her two daughters by her side. She was born to the late Robert and Ruth Baughman, on Friday May 26th, 1944.
Mary Jane was family oriented and cared for them as much as she could. She was very proud of her church, Messiah United Methodist Church, Shippensburg Pennsylvania. She would play the broadcast on her television full volume, while at the same time streaming the service on her phone. She retired from Letterkenny after thirty five years. She also attended Hagerstown Business College where she graduated with a double major receiving an Associate’s degree in Computer Applications and her other major was Graphic Art Design in 2002. She was well known for being an animal lover and had many animals throughout her life. She loved cross stitching, crochet, and word puzzles.
She is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Beecher of Carlisle and Heather Shirley of Chambersburg; her two grandchildren Danasia Foster and Havin Foster; one sister Rose and husband Galen Sato of Alexandria Virginia; three brothers, Robert and Linda Baughman of Nokesville Virginia, Terry and Dena Baughman of Shippensburg, and Jon and Andrea Baughman of Fayetteville Pennsylvania.
Memorial Services will be held in her honor, Wednesday February 21st, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg. Visitation will be one hour prior. Services will be officiated by The Reverend Doctor Francis H. Norton. Inurnment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to , Messiah United Methodist Church, Shippensburg.
