Mary Kean

January 2, 1929 — February 18, 2015

Mary L. Kean age 86, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Leininger MacInnes.
Mrs. Kean worked as a presser in the Retail industry for a number of years. Surviving are three nieces, Nancy Maugel (Fred Silberman) of Texas, Mary Ann Miller (Mark) of Chambersburg, PA, and Kaye Hamilton (Kenneth Egolf) of St. Thomas, PA and one nephew, W. Bryan MacInnes (Susan) of Chambersburg, PA; and her sister-in-law, Grace MacInnes of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Kean in 1970 and two siblings, Dorothy H. McNew and William C. MacInnes.
Funeral services will be held in her honor on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10 AM; where Rev. Murray Stevens will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Norland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
