Mary Klipp

Mary Louise Klipp, 77, of Chambersburg, PA, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at her home. Born December 23, 1936 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mollie Brand Klipp. The last of her immediate family, she is survived by several cousins.

Miss Klipp graduated in 1954 from the former Chambersburg High School, completed certification as a Para-legal at Penn State Mont Alto, and graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania School of Banking at Bucknell University. She worked for ten years in the Principal’s office at the Chambersburg Area Senior High School as Administrative Assistant and treasurer of school funds. For 34 years, she was employed at the former Chambersburg Trust Company, retiring in 1998.

Miss Klipp was an active member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of forty-two years and was a charter and active member of Spirit of Christ Community Church for 17 years.

It was Miss Klipp’s request that no service be held. Interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery.
