Mary Lou Kyler, 85, formerly of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 26, 2013 at Providence Place in Chambersburg where she resided for the past year. She retired from Letterkenny Army Depot after 34 years of service. She had attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fayetteville. Mary Lou was a long-time member of the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department where she served as Secretary for many years. She was also a member of The Order of Amaranth. An avid Penn State fan, she enjoyed bowling and had a great love for animals, especially German Shepherds and cats. Her husband, Albert Lee Kyler, preceded her in death on July 12, 2010.
The last of her immediate family, she is survived by several brothers and sisters-in-laws, William Kyler, Janice and Joseph Wrobleski, and Joyce and John Stouffer; cousins, Linda and Tim Rohrbach; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. John Ile officiating. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
