Mary Miner

Mary E. “Susie” Carbaugh Miner, age 73, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday morning, March 12, 2014 at her home. Born February 9, 1941 in Chambersburg she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Gladys Jones Carbaugh. A 1959 graduate of CASHS, Mary spent most of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed coloring, planting and growing flowers, playing BINGO, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Gladys Perry of Fayetteville, and Charlesetta “Crystal” Creager of Chambersburg; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Richard Carbaugh and wife Gerry of Fayetteville, Terrence Carbaugh of Chambersburg, and Ronnie Carbaugh and wife Wilma of Chambersburg. Aside from her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Harry “Robin” Carbaugh.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the L.I.F.E. Center, 840 5th Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Pastor Warren Heintzelman will officiate. A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
