Maryann D. Vanucci, 73, of Fayetteville, PA, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, October 24, 2012 in Chambersburg Hospital. Born February 7, 1939 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late George and Ann Deah. Mrs. Vanucci had been employed as a librarian most of her life. She enjoyed reading and antiquing. She was an active member in Falling Springs Chapter #1435 of The Questers of Pennsylvania and was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg.
Mrs. Vanucci is survived by her husband, Charles O. Vanucci, whom she married October 25, 1958; three children, Michael S. Vanucci of Brick, NJ, Gary C. Vanucci and wife Marjorie of Mechanicsville, MD, and Diane M. Vanucci of Princeton, NJ; six grandchildren, Nelson, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Noah, Juliet, and Brittany; her brother, Charles Deah of Florida; and her sister, Sharon Bobich of Pittsburgh, PA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, October 29, 2012 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Fr. James R. O’Brien officiating. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray, PA.
