Matthew Foor

Matthew R. Foor, 32, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the emergency room of Chambersburg Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born July 10, 1989 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Barry A. Foor of Chambersburg and the late DeAnne Anderson Foor who preceded him in death on February 5, 2020. Matthew was a 2007 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and was employed with Foor’s Heating and Cooling in Chambersburg. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. He also enjoyed motocross with his son Jaycob; baseball; and football and had played for the Greenvillage Broncos.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his fiancé, Ivy M. Bittinger; his son, Jaycob S.E. Bittinger; and his brother, Michael A. Foor.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. A memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Chapel, 1513 Shatzer Rd., Chambersburg, PA on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 5:30 PM.
