Michael Krugh

Michael R. Krugh, 64, of Amberson, PA and formerly of Chambersburg, passed away Monday morning, August 8, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born June 19, 1958 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late John and Helen Melius Krugh. A graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Mike was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot for more than 40 years prior to retirement. Following his retirement from Letterkenny he managed the Knights of Columbus in Chambersburg for a number of years. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #1426. He managed Bingo at Corpus Christi for many years. Mike served on the Board of Directors of the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter and was a member of VFW Post 1599, AMVETS Post 224, the Chambersburg Club, American Legion Post 46, and Moose Lodge #842, all in Chambersburg. He was also a member of the American Legion Riders. He enjoyed golfing, camping at Saunderosa, hunting, bowling, and riding his Harley.

Mike is survived by his wife, Tiffany Black Krugh, whom he married June 10, 2022; two sons, Eric M. Krugh and wife Nicholle of Greencastle and Jason L. Krugh of Shippensburg; a step-daughter, Morgan Burdge and fiancé Erick Harnish of Spring Run; four grandchildren, Landon and wife Alexis "Ali" Miller, Aidan Krugh, Haven Harnish, and Colson Harnish; and his brother, Timothy A. Krugh and wife Suk Hi of Rosenberg, TX. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Krugh, and a sister, Marjorie McLaughlin.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday August 22, 2022 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. A memorial service officiated by Deacon Richard Ramsey will begin at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
